Terms of service

RouteHero helps local commercial service businesses find, rank and work prospective customers in a territory: business mapping and scoring, route planning, lists, and outreach that we run on your behalf when you ask us to. Features can change over time; we will not remove a core feature you pay for during a paid period without telling you.

Accounts are set up for companies, usually after a call with us. You are responsible for the people you give access to, for keeping sign-in details secure, and for what happens under your account. Tell us at tam@routehero.io if you think your account has been misused.

Paid plans are billed in advance at the price shown when you sign up or in your order with us, and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds follow our refund policy. We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' notice.

Where we offer one company per territory and service, it applies while your plan is active and covers the territory recorded in your account. It does not stop other companies from operating in your area outside RouteHero.

You agree not to:

• Break any law that applies to your sales and marketing, including anti-spam, telemarketing and privacy laws.
• Contact anyone marked do-not-contact, or keep contacting someone who has asked you to stop.
• Resell, publish or share RouteHero data outside your company, or use it to build a competing product.
• Scrape, overload or try to break into the Service, or access another company's data.
• Use the Service to harass anyone or to send deceptive messages.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your company's accounts, statuses, notes, uploads and contacts belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the Service. When you leave, you can take a full export, and we then delete your data as described in our privacy policy and on Your data.

Business listings, scores, tiers, estimated values, visit frequencies and routes are produced from public business data and our own models. They are estimates to help you prioritize, not guarantees: listings can be out of date, and route distances are straight-line miles, not driving directions. You may use RouteHero data inside your company while you are a customer.

The RouteHero plugin lets you use the Service from ChatGPT or Codex with your RouteHero account. These terms apply to that use, and OpenAI's terms apply to ChatGPT and Codex themselves. Actions with outside effects, such as requesting outreach, ask for your confirmation first.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise any number of customers, meetings or revenue.

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits or revenue, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You will defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your outreach, your content, or your breach of these terms or of the law.

You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We can end or suspend your access for a serious breach of these terms or for non-payment. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as fees owed, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity, continue after the agreement ends.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, tell customers by email at least 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
